Xenon kit HID Type B. The bulbs of a xenon kit differ from conventional ones because instead of an incandescent filament they contain a gas mixture which is “ignited” (excited) by electric current to produce light. This mixture consists largely of the noble gas xenon, which gives these products their name. A xenon kit or a replacement xenon bulb is typically used in low-beam lights (dipped), high-beam lights (full beam) and fog lights.
