Xenon kit Type B. The bulbs of a xenon kit differ from conventional ones because instead of an incandescent filament they contain a gas mixture which is “ignited” (excited) by electric current to produce light. This mixture consists largely of the noble gas xenon, which gives these products their name. A xenon kit or a replacement xenon bulb is typically used in low-beam lights (dipped), high-beam lights (full beam) and fog lights.
The type, which in this case is H1, indicates how the kit bulb is fitted into the vehicle’s socket, the number of filaments and the electrical power required. Consult your vehicle’s manual for the correct kit selection.
